Welcome to the Open Sky of Your Mind
Would exploring mindfulness and meditation make sense to you?
For many of us, life can at times feel overwhelming with all the stress, expectations, demands, and distractions.
The constant noise of our thoughts can pull us away from what matters most.
Mindfulness and meditation offer a way to become like a colander for the noise, allowing it to flow through while you connect with something more profound—your natural state of clarity, calm, and presence.
This 7-day Yin Yoga and mindfulness online course isn’t about twisting yourself into a pretzel or chasing some idea of perfect calm. Slow down, tune in, and discover what it is like to be okay with not having all the answers. Whether you’re a total beginner or someone who’s practiced yoga for years, this is for anyone who’s curious about finding a little more peace in the middle of life’s chaos.
Each session is built around three Yin Yoga poses that are simple yet deeply transformative. You’ll start with a gentle warm-up, move into a peak pose that asks for a little trust, and end with a restorative Savasana—a chance to just let go. Together, we’ll explore themes like letting go of control, opening up to what’s possible, and finding clarity when things feel uncertain.
I bring to this course over 20 years of meditation practice and certifications in yoga and mindfulness teaching. But this isn’t about me—it’s about giving you the tools to reconnect with your breath, your body, and the present moment.
You might laugh, hopefully reflect, and you’ll have space to be exactly as you are, without judgment. This course is absolutely not about nailing the pose or achieving some idealized version of a perfect state of mind, however you are is perfect. Just show up, breathe, and you might just realize that sometimes, just BEING is enough.
If you’re ready to stop running from uncertainty and start leaning into it with curiosity and calm, join me for Essential Stillness.
What if uncertainty didn’t have to feel like the big, scary unknown?
What if, instead, it could be a space to breathe, pause,
and discover something new about yourself?

What If You Don’t Need Fixing?
This isn't about fixing yourself or reaching some perfect state. It's about seeing clearly—your mind, your emotions, and the stories you tell yourself—so you can respond to life more easily and authentically. Imagine fewer mental dramas, more equanimity, and the ability to fully engage with whatever comes your way. That's what this practice is about.
What If Your Mind Is Already Free?
Think of your mind as an open sky. Clouds (thoughts, emotions, sensations) come and go, but the sky remains untouched. Mindfulness is the art of resting as that sky, allowing everything to arise without grasping or pushing away.
What Is Mindfulness and Meditation?
This doesn't have to be mystical or abstract but is deeply practical. Research shows that mindfulness can:
• Reduce stress and anxiety.
• Improve focus and emotional balance.
• Foster a greater sense of well-being.
But even if new and better research eventually disproves all of that, there are still benefits we can explore and discover for ourselves. With regular practice, many people report a profound shift in how they view themselves and the world, uncovering a deep sense of connection and freedom beyond words; it is all about experience.
But don't take my word for it—or anyone else's. The real power of mindfulness is in testing it for yourself.
